Your home in Spain in good hands

We look after your home in Torrevieja while you are away: a visit every month with photos and help with whatever you need.

The app is not in the stores yet: we are testing it with the first homes in Torrevieja.

What we do for you

  • Alerts and visits
  • Management and maintenance
  • Support for older people
  • Paperwork and inheritance
The Vivamigo app on a phone: the home screen shows the Torrevieja seafront and the words “Your peace of mind lives here too”.

Your eyes and hands in Spain

Everything you need, in one app

  • Look after your home

A monthly visit with photos and, if you like, sensors whose alerts you see in the app.

A white house with a garden and palm trees on the Costa Blanca.
  • Manage your property

Tradespeople, cleaning, maintenance and your community of owners.

A member of the Vivamigo team arrives at the door of a house.
  • Support for your loved ones

Company, errands and a hand at the doctor’s, from people you can trust.

A woman from the Vivamigo team walks by the sea with an older lady.
  • Help with your paperwork

Inheritance, NIE, taxes and bills, with trusted law firms.

A person signs papers next to a small model of a house.

How it works

Getting started is simple

  1. Tell us about your home

You choose your plan and tell us what your home is like. We explain everything, with no small print.

  2. We agree who lets us in and, if you like, install the kit

We meet whoever you name (you, a relative or a neighbour) to let us in: Vivamigo does not keep clients’ keys. If you choose sensors (door, water, humidity and fridge), we fit them with no building work.

  3. You can relax

We visit once a month and send you photos of every room. With the kit, we also alert your phone if something happens.

Services and prices

Clear prices, VAT included

The three paid plans look after your home the same way: a visit every month and everything included in the fee. Only one thing changes: whether you want sensors. And if you only want to book professionals, there is Free.

All three plans with a monthly fee include

  • A visit every month, with photos of every room
  • Your post, scanned and explained
  • Meter readings with photos
  • Home ready the day you arrive (once a year)
  • A visit after a storm (up to 2 a year)
  • We start your car and water your plants, if you ask
  • Reminders before your IBI, rubbish and insurance bills
  • Yearly report on your home
  • Order whatever you need, with the price first (paid separately)
  • Your community in the app, if your property manager uses Vivamigo
  • Chat with the team, during office hours

Do you want sensors in your home?

They detect water, a power cut or the door opening, and the alert appears in the app. It is the only thing that changes from one plan to another.

To start: €35 (the first month)

What the fee includes, in detail

On all three plans, at no extra cost:

  • Your post, scanned and explained in your language or in English

On every visit we collect your post. We send you the important letters (tax office, IBI, fines, community) by chat, photographed, and explain what they say in your language or in English.

  • Meter readings with photos

We read the water and electricity meters on every visit and tell you if the usage looks odd: a dripping tap shows on the meter before it shows on the floor.

  • Your home ready the day you arrive

Once a year, that month’s visit takes place on the day you arrive (or the day before, if we do not work that day): we air the house, turn the water on, plug in the fridge and switch on the air conditioning. No shopping or cleaning: for that there is “Get my home ready”.

  • A visit after a storm

If AEMET (the Spanish weather service) issues an orange or red warning for your area, we go round to check your home (up to 2 times a year).

  • We start your car and water your plants

If you ask us, on every visit: the car battery doesn’t go flat and the plants don’t dry out.

  • Reminders before your IBI, rubbish and insurance bills

IBI, rubbish collection, insurance and community fees: we remind you 30 days before and help you set up direct debits. You pay them yourself, from your bank.

  • A yearly report on your home

Every year, a summary: visits, alerts, what was fixed and what is worth fixing.

No wifi at home? No need: the kit comes with its own 4G router with a battery. Alerts and 4G data: €5/month.

For the kit: indoor camera, €129 installed + €3/month; smoke detector, €59 installed.

And whenever you need it: getting the house ready for your arrival, cleaning, extra visits, letting in a tradesperson, going with you to the doctor and paperwork. You see the price in the app before you order.

  • Invite a friend: one month free
  • 5 homes in your neighbourhood: −€3/month
  • Pilot place: 2 months at half price
Discount conditions
  • Invite a friend: one month free for you and another for your friend.
  • Neighbourhood discount: Every home in your neighbourhood with Vivamigo in service counts, yours included and on any of the three plans: from the kit installation (on Essential, from the first visit) and as long as it has not asked to cancel. With 5 or more, each one pays €3 less a month from the next payment; if they drop below 5, it stops from the next payment and we tell you beforehand. It adds up with “Invite a friend” and the pilot place.
  • Pilot place: your first 2 months at half price, while places last. It cannot be combined with “Invite a friend”.
  • Yearly payment (Essential and Buy): 12 months of fee for the price of 11; on Buy, alerts and 4G data are paid for all 12 months. You can switch to monthly payments (or back) in the app, from your next renewal.

Who it is for

Made for people who live far from their home

  • You spend part of the year abroad

Your home stays empty for months at a time. We check it and have it ready for when you come back.

  • Your parents have a home here

You live in another country and they live in Torrevieja. You see the home on your phone, with its alerts in the app, and ask us to help them.

  • You let to holidaymakers

Cleaning between guests and alerts. Registering your guests is still your responsibility: we remind you with the official link.

Frequently asked questions

What people ask us most

What happens if an alert goes off at night?

The alert appears in the app and our team sees it; you do not get a notification or a text message yet, so you will see it when you open the app. The team works Monday to Friday, 9:00 to 20:00 (Spanish time): at night or at the weekend we look at it when we start and, if it is water or power, we contact the person you have named and go round then, if they can let us in. If the door opens, our team does not go in to check. If there is any danger, call 112.

Do you keep the keys to my home?

No. Vivamigo does not keep clients’ keys. At each visit, you or someone you authorise (a relative, a neighbour…) lets us in, at a time we agree with them.

What do you check on the monthly visit?

Taps, cisterns, windows, damp on walls and ceilings, the letterbox and that everything is as you left it. We send you photos of every room and a note if anything needs looking at.

Can I write to you in my language?

Yes. The app and the alerts are in your language. In the chat we reply in your language or in English: we do not have automatic translation yet.

Can my family see the house?

Yes. From the app you invite whoever you like and decide what they can do: see the house and, if you want, its alerts. The home’s alerts can be seen in the app; phone notifications and text messages will come once we switch them on.

Is your service insured?

We are taking out public liability insurance, which will cover any damage we might cause in your home. We will send you the certificate before we start (the kit installation or, without the kit, the first visit): without it, we do not start.

How do I cancel?

From the app, in a few steps, and we give you a confirmation. Essential and Buy have no minimum term. Kit rental has a minimum term of 24 months, and when you cancel we collect the kit.

Can I sign up now?

We are starting with the first homes in Torrevieja, and the app will soon be on the App Store and Google Play. In the meantime, under “I want to start” you can get the plan you are interested in ready: right there we tell you whether it already reaches us or how to send it to us.

10 things to do before closing your home in Spain

Save it or print it before your next trip. It will spare you more than one unpleasant surprise when you return.

  1. Turn off the water

Close the main stopcock and switch off the water heater if it is electric. A small leak over three months can ruin floors, furniture and the flat below.

  2. Decide about the power and the fridge

If you switch the power off, empty the fridge and leave it open and dry so it does not go mouldy. If you leave it on, throw out anything that will go off and keep only what lasts.

  3. Get ready for damp

Air the house well on the last day, leave inside doors and wardrobes ajar, and put moisture absorbers in bathrooms and wardrobes. On the coast, a closed-up house can grow mould within weeks.

  4. Sort out your post

Ask Correos to forward your letters, or ask someone you trust to empty the letterbox. A full letterbox can be seen from the street, and important letters get lost.

  5. Leave the shutters right

Do not close them all the way: leave some half open so a little light and air get in. The house looks lived-in and less damp builds up.

  6. Check your home insurance

Make sure it is in force, check what it covers if the house is empty for several months (many policies limit this) and keep the claims number where you can find it.

  7. Leave a set of keys

Leave it with someone you trust in Torrevieja and write down who has it. Never put your address on the key ring.

  8. Tell your community of owners

Let the administrator know you are leaving and give them a phone number or email. Pay the fees by direct debit so no debts build up.

  9. Set up direct debits for IBI and bills

IBI (council tax), rubbish collection, water and electricity, all by direct debit. Keep money in your Spanish account: a returned bill brings surcharges.

  10. Before you close the door

Unplug appliances (except the fridge if you leave it on, and the router if you have sensors), turn off the gas, take out the rubbish and photograph every room: the photos will help if something is wrong when you return.

You live far away. Your home is not alone.

With Vivamigo you have a trusted team in Torrevieja that looks after your home and helps you with whatever you need.
